Terms of Service
Effective May 6, 2026.
These terms cover your school's use of ServePanda. We've kept them short and in plain language. By signing in, your school agrees to them.
Acceptable use
Use ServePanda to track your school's graduation-requirement records. Don't use it to scrape, attack, or reverse-engineer our infrastructure. Don't upload data your school doesn't have a lawful right to handle.
IP ownership
Your school owns its data — the student records, log entries, and configuration you create or upload are yours. ServePanda owns the software, the brand, and the source code. We grant your school a non-exclusive license to use the service while your subscription is active.
Termination and data export
Your school can leave at any time, for any reason. On request, we'll deliver a full CSV export of your data within seven business days. We'll delete your school's data from our active systems within 30 days of termination, and from backups within an additional 30 days.
We may suspend access for non-payment (with notice) or for material violations of acceptable use. We'll always preserve your data through the export window.
Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that ServePanda will be uninterrupted or error-free. We make no warranty that the rollups or status calculations are fit for any specific compliance, accreditation, or transcript-issuing purpose — the school remains responsible for verifying records before they're used in graduation decisions.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, ServePanda's total liability for any claim related to the service is capped at the amount the school paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $500, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which ServePanda is incorporated (state to be confirmed at incorporation). Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that state.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that affects existing customers, we'll email account contacts at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
